Hey, friend!! Welcome to my little space on the web, I’m so happy you’re here!
My name is Jane and I’m a 2020 University of Nottingham Masters of Pharmacy graduate. I’m currently doing my training year in a hospital in the UK. I also work as a freelancer Content Creator for the Commonwealth Pharmacists’ Association as their Communications Officer.
Upon noticing there was a market for more UK-based pharmacy blogs, I took the plunge in March of 2018 and created my own Instagram blog and YouTube channel, formerally known as mypharmdiary. My blog documents my life as a Pharmacy student, my university advice and tips, as well as insights into my life experiences such as my semester abroad in Malaysia and various life lessons.
Throughout my time at university, I actively sought ways to develop and exercise new skills and talents within me. From being one of University of Nottingham’s pharmacy student ambassadors, working for the International Pharmaceutical Federation Students’ Association as their content creator, to being the Eastern Area Representative for the British Pharmaceutical Society Students’ Association in my second year, I tried my best to milk out the opportunities university could offer. You can find out more about organisations who have featured me here.
Being awarded the Student of the Year Royal Pharmaceutical Society Award by my university has been one my most humbling achievements. It is a real testament of the beauty in being proactive and taking on new opportunities. I truly believe we all have abounding purpose. I hope to use my award as proof and encouragement of what we can achieve once we put our hearts into all our daily pursuits.
I am passionate about mentoring students make the most of their university experience to help unleash their inner gifts and enhance their personal development. Stay tuned for more information on this!
I love forming international connections. Although the world is big, it undoubtedly is a very small one too! After all, as the saying goes our network is our net worth, right! Check out the great international pharmacy stories here!
If you ever have any questions, or need someone to talk to- feel super free to email me directly at email@example.com, or DM me on Instagram. I’d LOVE to get to know you and help where I can.
Thank you for stopping by, and I hope to see you back soon!
